The location is fantastic to the downtown area. Our room was like an apartment and it was huge. The view of the Alps was great, especially on the top floor with the pool and jacuzzi. The buffet breakfast was also great. Now for some bad points. The weekend staff we're not very friendly nor helpful. When we arrived, I thought from the hotels advertisement that parking was next door to the hotel. It is not! The explanation for self parking from the front desk staff was complicated and not accurate. They acted as if was simply driving down the street and getting to the parking garage. Nope! The staff sent me in a different direction and we ended up in the downtown area with the police giving me a ticket for driving in a restricted area. Beware the police are not friendly at all. The made me pay them 25 euro in CASH to forgive the ticket, which I thought was shady and a total scam for tourists.

Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Grauer Bär! The location is brilliantly located within a few minutes walking of the Old Town. Staff are extremely friendly, and I would especially love to say thank you the gentleman who checked us into room 520 on Friday 10 January (sorry, I never got your name) - he went above and beyond to have a laugh with us and had some great recommendations! He should be rewarded for being a credit to your team! The room was clean and quiet and had a fabulous view of the mountains! The spa was excellent and having a room on the same floor of it was a wonderful experience! The breakfast at the hotel is outstanding and I would even go as far as to say it’s the best hotel breakfast we’ve had (and we go on a holiday a month)!! Would definitely stay here again!!

This was a quick overnight stay in a beautiful city before we headed up to the Dolomites. The hotel is a great location, we easily walked from the train after deciding it would be quicker than loading all our luggage onto a taxi! The suite was a large two room affair with beautiful views up to the mountains, a comfy bed for us and a sofa bed for our teen. The bathroom was large and clean. The bonus is the wellness centre on the top floor with stunning views across the city to the mountains. You can sit in the spa watching the sun go down. Steam room and sauna also a welcome treat after a cold day. Breakfast buffet was a little chaotic as it was the last busy weekend of the holidays but it was restocked after we sat down and plenty of choice. Great hotel and location.

We were two couples, 2 rooms, stayed at the hotel 3 nights. The hotel is perfect. Location is fabulous, just right nest to the city center and that old city. The staff are very helpful and nice. The is a very convenient parking under the hotel (good price) with direct entry to the hotel lobby. breakfast was well above our expectations (really good). We used the SPA which was Awesome (Pool, jacuzzi, wet/dry sauna), it is located at the 5th floor with spectacular view of the city and snowy mountain. Rooms are clean and setup just right.

The hotel is nicely decorated and has a very warm atmosphere. We had a spacious, very quiet room with a great bed. Even the extra bed for the 3rd person was of the same quality as the normal bed which is often not the case in hotels. The bathroom had a lovely rain shower. Breakfast was abundant. On Sunday they even served a glass of champagne, which was most appreciated by my mum and grandmum. The pool and spa were a nice extra. The jacuzzi with view on the mountains and the city topped it all.
